Basalith for Individuals and Families
The preservation of a person. How they think, decide, and see the world.
A person is more than the records they keep.
Photographs hold a face. Letters hold a moment. Neither holds the way a person reasoned, the counsel they give, or the judgment the people around them rely on. Basalith preserves how a person thinks, captured while they are active and fully present.
What a lifetime leaves, and what it does not
What a family keeps
Photographs and home video
Letters, journals, and recordings
Names, dates, and the places that mattered
The stories told at the table
What usually disappears
The way they weighed a hard decision
The counsel they would give you now
How they read people and situations
The reasoning behind everything they built
Basalith began here
Before Basalith was a way to hand forward how a business is run, it was a way to preserve how a person thinks. The method has not changed. We build a cognitive reference model of the person while they are active and fully present. Not a biography. Not a recorded interview. A system that holds how they reason, what they weigh, and how they decide, and makes it available to the people who come after.
Built from them, not about them
An archive built from the person is not the same as an archive built about them. The difference can only come from the person, while they are active and giving it themselves.
How the archive is built
01
The Founding.
An extended guided session captures the frameworks a person uses to think and to decide.
02
Guided capture.
They work through real scenarios and questions across the domains that shaped them. Their responses train the model.
03
Verification.
Every response is scored before it influences the model, and lower-confidence responses are escalated for a closer pass, so the archive reflects how the person actually reasoned.
04
Presence.
The people who rely on them consult the archive for that judgment, long after the person has stepped back.
An archive can be built for anyone whose way of thinking is worth keeping.
Yourself
While your thinking is at its sharpest and you can shape the archive yourself.
A parent
So the way they reason stays within reach of the people who rely on it.
A grandparent
Whose memory is the family’s first history.
A spouse or partner
So their counsel stays part of how the family decides.
Trust is the whole product
Built while they are here.
The archive is captured while the person is present and fully participating. This is why the method matters, and why now matters.
Only ever them.
Every model is trained only on one person’s deposits. No general AI speaks for the archive.
Never shared. Never sold.
The archive is never shared, sold, or used to train another company’s model.
The family owns it.
You own the archive and can export all of it at any time. Nothing is stranded if we ever close.
What a person has learned can keep working long after they step back. The only question is whether it is captured while they are the one giving it.
